Office Re-design
I should probably just say “Office Design” since there wasn’t much of it to begin with…
Today I finally decided to put my biz first and stop working on the living room lounge chair. Great for comfort, not so great for focus and actually getting stuff done.
I have an office, but it was so unusable and unfriendly I never even wanted to look at the door, let alone WORK in there. Not only that, it sort of became a dumping ground.
Something HAD to be done.
So today I threw away mounds of unnecessary papers.
Bought a few paint samples & decided on one (Pale Avocado by Benjamin Moore, if you’re curious).
Whined and complained about my calves hurting so hubs would paint for me after I did the trimming – well…. I didn’t do much complaining. He’s such a wonderful guy he took over without me asking — even in the face of my protests (although those weren’t all that protest-like).
Tomorrow I put the final coat of paint, move everything back and go buy my furniture. From Ikea of course.
This is what I’m getting:

I’ll be sure to post pictures when everything’s in place.
And to further support my sorting, reorganizing and clutter-busting, I’m attending Jen & Charlie’s Work Party on Monday.
Oh! If you couldn’t make it to the Webcast last Thursday, you can still get access to the recording! Sign up below & you’ll get the link in your Welcome email.

I know exactly what you mean. I have been working from my back deck and it is much harder to stay focused. Nice and sunny though
. Once I get things restructured I will get in touch about what I am doing on blogenclave
