Hi Lexi. Great start to your site, congratulations! I wish you the best of success with it. I like the Vigilance theme, and I'm lookng forward to seeing the new logo when it's ready.

I'm also putting up some sites with Wordpress and I'm managing to sort most of it out ok so far. But I'm confused about feeds. Can you help? I understand how they work in theory. It's the practical details I can't quite get the hang of. So here are a few questions:

Does a WP installation come with a feed automatically, or do I have to get one or set one up or adjust any settings? What if I use a theme that doesn't come with it's own rss button, or if I prefer to use a different button.

What about Feedburner? What advantages does it have? I uploaded a Feedburner plugin to my plugins folder and activated it but it doesn't seem to have changed anything. So what else do I need to do?

How do I find out what is my feed url? Is it the same as my site url?

If I have the Add This plugin and button do I need a feed button too?

How did you get and set up that neat little row of icons you have for feed, email and Twitter?

That's all for now. Yes, I'd be delighted if you want to feature my new site at scannertribe.com site.
