This is a site that you can update and change whenever the inspiration strikes.

This is what I’ll do:

• Install WordPress on your web host
• Using the default theme, I’ll add your logo in the header (must be a web-ready .jpg, .gif or .png)
• And 6 must-have plugins:
  • Google XML Sitemaps: make your site play nice with search engines
  • WordPress.com stats: so you can see how many people are visiting
  • All-In-One SEO Pack: another thing to help your search engine-ability
  • Contact Form 7: easy contact form so people can get in touch with you
  • WP-DB-Backup: automatic backups of your database sent to your email
  • Subscribe to Comments: excellent for keeping up the conversation on your blog

How much does hosting cost?
My preferred host costs $66/year, which includes a domain name. Pretty good deal! I also recommend HostGator or Bluehost.

Because part of the cost of the install is offset by the affiliate commission I get when you use my preferred host, I’m able to offer this install service at a discount.

What if I already have a web host?
If you have already purchased an account on a web host, I offer an “upgrade” service. Hosts with CPanel or Fantastico will cost $127. Please use the form below to let me know your web host and I’ll get back to you.

If you have GoDaddy or another web host that doesn’t use CPanel as their control panel, the service will cost $157 due to the extra time involved.

Will you design/tweak/add content to my site?
No. This service only includes the install, adding the logo to the header of the default WordPress theme TwentyTen, and the basic plugins outlined above. Any additional service will be extra.
